Two blocks from the Gulf and a beach club, this house is as much about being outside as in. Expansive porches on both levels – reached through wall-to-wall French doors – invite long mornings in the coastal breeze, and the upper-level porch hanging bed turns that into something worth lingering over. When the day calls for action, four bikes are ready for exploring the community's trails, and shops and restaurants are an easy walk along the path. Back at the beach club, three pools and a sunset bar await.

Home truths:
* You'll need to pack your own beach and pool towels – bath towels and linens can't be taken from the home to the beach or pool.
* To use the beach club and community pools, every guest aged five and older needs an amenity access wristband. This home is permitted twelve bands in total, so if your group includes younger children, factor them into your headcount when planning pool days.
* The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
* If you'd like to hire a Low-Speed Vehicle to get around, it must be booked through a local company, and only one vehicle per home is permitted – availability across the community is capped at eighty at any one time, so book early if this is on your list.
