Blue Mountain Beach is made for long, unhurried days, and this three-floor home leans into that fully. The private pool and enclosed backyard – complete with a screened porch and fire pit – give the group a natural base for evenings outdoors, while the community pool directly across the street offers an easy second option when someone fancies a change of scene. A six-passenger low-speed vehicle and bikes come included, making it simple to explore the wider 30A stretch, and Ed Walline Beach Access is a three-minute drive away along South County Highway 393.

Home truths:
* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on two single sofa beds in the living area.
* Bedroom one sleeps up to six people in a super-king bed and a double-over-double bunk bed, and bedroom six sleeps up to nine people in two double-over-double bunk beds and a pull-out single bed. We think these rooms might be best suited to children.
* As well as a private swimming pool, you'll have access to the on-site communal pool here. It's shared with the complex's other guests.
* You'll need to bring your own beach and pool towels – bath towels and linens aren't permitted to leave the home.
* The nearest beach is a three-minute drive rather than a walk, so you'll want access to one of the six parking spaces or plan to use the included bikes or low-speed vehicle to get there.
* The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
