Make no mistake, we love an island villa. They're sleek, sophisticated and sun-kissed – what's not to love? We're especially fans of this Ibizan villa, seemingly a world away from the club lifestyle the White Isle is famous for, yet only a ten-minute drive from Ibiza Town.

And yet, in this gated community is an oasis that's quiet, secluded and glamorous. The sea itself takes centre stage wherever you are in the home – whether that be outside on your private decking to the left of the villa, or settling down to sleep in the luxurious bedrooms.

With the coast the centrepiece, the design indoors is simple – sleek, clean white walls and concrete floors with intervals of muted art and black feature furniture, including a wood burner (just in case you need it).

There's a cinema room too, should you need to seek solace from the sun for a while. And outside, you've got your own private pool for long days under cloudless skies, or if you want more space to swim, there's a larger communal pool too.

If you can tear yourself away from that view, you'll discover a selection of the island's most stunning beaches nearby. Sandwiched between the sea and the scented pine forests, Cala Jondal is popular with the chic crowd and is only ten minutes' drive, while Cala d'Hort is 9km away and offers spectacular views of the island of Es Vedrà.

The charm of the White Isle is on never far away at this villa, so be warned – you may never want to leave.
