This hip neighbourhood has excellent transport links, is conveniently located just a short drive from San Diego Airport, and benefits from boutique clothing stores, excellent restaurants and charming piazzas. If you fancy a trip to the beach, there are lots in the area, with most just a short drive away. To escape the crowds, head north to the likes of Black's Beach, a few miles past La Jolla, or continue towards Solana Beach and Encinitas for a more secluded stretch of sand.
