Description The Como Cabin: Sala Comacina

Set within the picturesque town of Sala Comacina, right on the shores of Lake Como, this home is full of authentic Italian charm – think exposed beams, stone floors and a log burner in the kitchen for cosy, candlelit dinners. The house is spread across three floors, connected by spiralling staircases that add to the rustic feel though are a little steep in places. There's no lake view, but a little balcony overlooks an internal courtyard – just the spot for morning coffee – and when you fancy a dip, a pebbled beach is just steps away. As for the location, the town is less crowded than many villages along the lake, with a wonderfully tranquil atmosphere, while Como is just 20 kilometres away.

*At full occupancy, one guest will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
*As this home is spread across three floors, with multiple flights of steep stairs, it's not suitable for infants or children. It also might not be the best option for those with limited mobility.
*The washing machine is located in the garage.
