Mill & Olives

Built as an olive mill in 1775, this Mallorcan villa carries centuries of history in its stone walls and beamed ceilings – from the characterful entrance hall to the farmhouse kitchen where the whole group can gather. The pool sits tucked against wooded hills with covered terraces around it for shade or sun. When you're ready to explore, Pollença's medieval old town is a short drive away, and the pretty beaches of Cala Sant Vicenç, Port de Pollença, and the northern coast are also within easy reach.

Home truths:
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair. You'll need to request them in advance.
* There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the bedrooms, as they're all on the first floor.
* You'll need a car to get around here, though the beach, town, and local shops are only a short drive away. Three parking spaces are provided.
* The swimming pool is only available for use between 1st March and 1st November.
* This home is not suitable for groups of young people up to 27 years old.
* It's worth noting that the mattresses here are a little worn, so not everyone might find them comfortable.
