Stay at this apartment, and you'll find yourself just steps away from the Pantheon, an ancient Roman temple dating back to the 2nd century. Trajan's Forum, the Colosseum and many more sights are also within walking distance. Rome is rich in history, and this building is no exception – originally a monastery, it was constructed in 1582. The home itself is traditionally styled, and the cosy living space has a sofa bed. Like the rest of the apartment, the kitchen is quite compact, but it has everything you need, and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants on your doorstep.

Home truths:
*At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
*There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the first-floor entrance of the home.
*Though there's enough bed space for four people here, we think it might feel a little cramped. We'd recommend a maximum guest count of two.
*The only bathroom here is small, and it's an en-suite off the main bedroom – at full occupancy, privacy may be limited.
*The traditional decor here might not be to everyone's taste – it feels a little dated in parts, and areas of the apartment are a little worn.
*Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
*This home does not accept groups of young people up to the age of 18 years old.
*Parking in Rome can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to walking to amenities or using public transport where possible.
