Description
Selva: Roma
addremove
Selva definitely has the feel of a holiday flat, rather than someone’s full-time home, but that shouldn’t necessarily count against it. It also has a trump card over most other places in the centre of the city – the feeling of peace. (Though this is, of course, relative – in these parts of the city there are always tourists.) What really elevates the stay, though, is the level of service you get from Richard. He and his team can help you plan things to do during your trip – very useful given the overwhelming number of things to do and see in Rome.
Home truths:
*When we visited, the sliding door to the lift was a bit sticky – don't be alarmed if it needs a bit of welly
*There's no TV in the living room, just in each bedroom
*The kitchen felt a bit disorganised in general
*While there is a double sofa bed in the living room and in the main bedroom, eight people at once feels like too many for the flat
