All of Rome is within your grasp from this modern apartment. Step outside your door and marvel at the Piazza della Repubblica, then walk the short distance to the Trevi Fountain or Spanish Steps. You'll hardly need to step on the metro – but if you do, Repubblica station is a few minutes away. Though compact, this home works as a city base for small groups – the bathroom is accessible from the living area and the bedroom, and the dining table slides out to seat four (but equally works as a desk).

Home truths:
*At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
*You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
*Your host asks you to respect quiet hours between 11pm and 7am.
