Description
Asymmetric: Roma
addremove
Asymmetric has a good combination of modern fittings (particularly in the bathroom and kitchen) and historical features, like the ceiling beams. It manages to express a sense of place – there’s something ineffably Roman about it. What really elevates the stay, though, is the level of service you get from Richard. He and his team can help you plan things to do during your trip – very useful given the overwhelming number of things to do and see in Rome.
Home truths:
*Depending on the time, the check-in might take place in two stages – the first remote, and an in-person welcome the next morning
*While there is a lift, it's out of bounds so you'll have to take the stairs to the third floor
*The wi-fi wasn't very fast when we measured, and the TV is terrestrial only
*There's no washing machine or dishwasher in the kitchen, nor any basic ingredients
*Both the bedroom and the bathroom are windowless
*There are no bedside tables
*Even though there are two sofa beds in the living room, we wouldn't recommend them, as the only bathroom is an en-suite
