This single-storey cabin sits 1 mile inland from Porthcothan Beach on Cornwall's north coast, in a quiet and largely undeveloped coastal village with an away-from-it-all feel.
Couples and small groups looking for a coastal self-catering break have at least ten beaches to explore along this stretch of coastline. Porthcothan itself is a deep inlet framed by rocky headlands, with a broad sweep of sand at low tide – quieter than many of the better-known bays, and surf lessons are available on the beach.
