Part of a bustling resort on the Texas coast, this home has family getaways written all over it. There's plenty of space to spread out across the different lounges before regrouping for dinner and drinks in the main living area. Step outside and take your pick from the balconies with views of the Gulf. It's spread across multiple levels, but a lift makes it easy for those who struggle with stairs. To top it all off, you'll have access to the resort's shared activities, including swimming pools, fishing piers, pickleball courts, and a playground for kids. With the beach just 500 feet away, we think it ticks all the boxes.

Home truths:
*At full capacity, one guest will sleep on a sofa bed in the third bedroom, which doubles as a lounge.
*The fifth bedroom has three single-over-double bunk beds. We think this room is best for children.
*You'll have access to the resort's communal facilities here, including swimming pools, pickleball and basketball courts, fishing pier, fitness centre, playground, and on-site restaurant. They're shared with the resort's other residents.
*We suggest hiring a car here. Parking is available for up to three cars. Some amenities require a 1.5-mile drive to the other side of the resort.
*The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
*Children under 2 years old don't count towards the occupancy.
*Please note that there's construction near this home, taking place between 8am and 6pm Monday to Saturday. Some noise may be likely.
*Your host provides a starter supply of essentials like toilet paper, dish soap, toiletries, and more.
