There's a lot to love about this home in Port Aransas – starting with the views. Perched on the lake just a short walk from the beach, the best spot to soak up the waterfront scenery is on the two balconies. You can fire up the barbecue, unwind with a cocktail, and enjoy the Gulf breeze – if that's not bliss, we don't know what is. Inside, two lounges (one perfect for kids) and a light-filled kitchen make it easy to hang out as a group. Better yet, spend your days discovering the resort's many shared amenities, including communal pools, playgrounds and sports courts, a fitness centre, and beachfront boardwalks that lead straight to the coast.

Home truths:
*The fifth bedroom features two bunk beds, each with a double bed on the bottom and a single on top. We think this room is best for children.
*You'll have access to the resort gym, swimming pools, athletic courts, playgrounds, pier and fishing pavilions, and more here. They're shared with other guests.
*There's parking for three cars here. We suggest having a vehicle if you'd like to explore the wider area.
*The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
*Construction work is ongoing in the area from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday and on occasional Sundays. Be prepared to experience some noise during your stay.
