Market Town Retreat

Built around 1885, this townhouse sits in a great spot in Pickering. You’re in a quiet area, but the town centre is literally just around the corner, so you get the best of both worlds. The south-facing courtyard is a sun trap in the warmer months, perfect for relaxed evenings. Inside, you’ll find plenty of character, with exposed beams and stone archways, a roll-top bath, and an Aga in the kitchen. There’s only one bathroom, though one bedroom has its own double washbasin. The living room is on the small side, but it still squeezes in a dining nook, so you’ve got everything you need for a comfortable stay.

*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
*There's free on-street parking here, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
*The two super-king size beds can be split into twins on request – please let the host know in advance if you require this.
*There's only one bathroom here, so at full capacity, you might need to do a little coordinating. One bedroom has its own double washbasin though, which helps ease the queue for brushing teeth.
