Main Street After Snow

Perched on the hillside above Park City, this home makes the most of its position at every turn – walls of glass and soaring ceilings frame panoramic mountain views from the living room, while multiple balconies invite slow mornings and unhurried evenings outdoors. When the sun drops, the accordion-style doors fold back to bring the mountain air inside, and the year-round hot tub on the terrace makes it easy to stay out late. A private staircase leads directly to Main Street, so restaurants, shops, and nightlife are just steps away.

Home truths:
* There are triple bunk beds in both the second and third bedroom – we think these work best for children.
* The walk up the hill to the home can be steep – manageable in summer but less so in icy winter conditions. Several guests found it easier to shuttle between the home and Main Street in winter rather than tackle the climb on foot, so factor that in if you're visiting during ski season.
* The garage has height restrictions, so if you're arriving in an oversized vehicle, one with a roof rack, or a cargo carrier, you won't be able to use the private parking.
* The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the second bedroom.
