Nearly an acre of private desert retreat in Palm Springs' Racquet Club West neighbourhood, this Spanish-style villa is built entirely around the outdoors. The centrepiece is an oval pool framed by towering palms with the San Jacinto Mountains rising behind – you'll find it hard to leave. A palapa with a full outdoor kitchen, a fire pit, hot tub, and a putting green round out the backyard. Inside, vaulted timber ceilings and a classic fireplace give the living room real warmth – as do the Spanish tiles in the bathrooms – while a detached casita offers guests a fully self-contained space of their own.
