Silver Olives, Ostuni

Centuries-old olive trees frame this Ostuni countryside villa, where ancient stone vaulted ceilings and warm Apulian architecture set the mood indoors, and life naturally drifts outside. A private pool sits amid flowering lawns, with a bamboo-shaded terrace and a gazebo barbecue area inviting long, unhurried meals as the sun drops over the hills. A secluded orchard furnished with sofas offers a cooler afternoon retreat, while a basement suite with direct garden access makes it ideal if your group needs a little breathing room. Ostuni's whitewashed old town is a seventeen-minute drive, and the Adriatic coast beaches are within easy reach too.

Home truths:
* For those with reduced mobility, there's a ground floor bedroom and bathroom here.
* The basement suite and living area sit on a separate level from the three ground-floor bedrooms, so groups spreading across both floors will be moving between levels regularly.
* The wi-fi here is not fibre optic, so speeds will be slower than you'd expect in a city. If you're planning to work remotely or stream heavily, factor that in.
* Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay.
