This home is a cosy retreat from the busy pace of life. For a cottage, it’s surprisingly large, with ample space for dining both inside and out. The inglenook fireplace is the heart of this home. With a lit fire and a glass of wine, the sitting room is an ideal spot to watch a film or spend an afternoon reading. A short walk through the village leads you to The Fox, a cosy pub with award-winning food and the walk itself is lovely – Lower Oddington is one of the prettiest villages in the Cotswolds, with traditional honey-coloured stone cottages lining the roads. There are footpaths dotted all around the village so it’s easy to access the surrounding countryside if you want to explore further afield.

* This home technically has three bedrooms, but as the loft room is only accessible via the master bedroom, it's only suitable for children who want to be close to their parents, so this home can only accommodate a maximum of four adults
* It’s not totally necessary to have a car, but if you do want to visit places outside of the village, it would definitely help as public transport is fairly infrequent in these parts
