Perched on the Balboa Peninsula, this apartment puts the Pacific right outside the window – from the balcony, you can watch the sun sink into the ocean, and in season, whales pass by on the horizon. The main bedroom faces the water too, so the views follow you from morning onwards. Hardwood floors and granite countertops give the interior a clean, polished feel, and the balcony is set up for alfresco barbecues after a day out. The Balboa Fun Zone – with its vintage Ferris wheel and waterfront energy – is a seven-minute stroll, and Balboa Island is just seventeen-minutes on foot.

* You have two designated spots in the underground parking garage, but large SUVs and vehicles with roof or bike racks won't fit. There is a third outdoor spot available on a first-come, first-served basis.
* Beach towels and beach gear such as chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys are not provided, so it's worth packing your own or planning to pick some up locally.
* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
* While there's no air conditioning here, your host can provide fans for the warmer months.
