Description Skyline on a Quiet Street: New York

Tucked along a tree-lined street in Greenpoint, this apartment offers a calm retreat with a private Juliet balcony offering a glimpse of the skyline. Inside, a spa-style bath adds a welcome layer of comfort after a day exploring the city. It's cosy and comfortable, and just the right size for a couple or solo traveller. The building has a shared roof terrace with even more views, while nearby Manhattan Avenue's cafes and shops are right down the street when you fancy heading out.

Home truths:
* The balcony is Juliet-style, so there's nowhere to sit.
* The galley kitchen works well for day-to-day cooking but is compact – if you're planning elaborate meals, you may find counter space a little tight.
* You'll have access to the rooftop deck here. It's shared with the building's other residents.
