Located on a beautiful tree-lined street in the heart of the Clinton Hill neighbourhood in Brooklyn, this characterful duplex is situated on the upper three floors of an original Brownstone. It's stylishly decorated throughout, and we love the plentiful period details, the sash windows, attractive fireplace and exposed brick walls. There might be quite a few stairs to contend with but other than that this warm and welcoming home is hard to fault. Lovely terrace too!

* There are quite a few stairs to contend with so be ready to lug your bags up a bit on arrival

* The home is across the street from a school yard so there might be some noise during recess and at the start and end of the school day

* Bedroom 3 (where guest 5 would stay) is less than inspiring and probably only really suitable for a child

* The master bedroom doesn't have any curtains

* The location is not super central
