It's a stylish apartment with an array of luxurious mod-cons that will make your stay in New Orleans that much sweeter. From the gym to the games room to the rooftop swimming pool (our personal favourite), this apartment building really packs a punch with its communal add-ons. Inside, there's a warmth to this flat that will have you feeling all cosy and comfortable from the get-go. It's an industrial build, with exposed brickwork and large picture windows that date back to NOLA's creole roots, and yet, you'll find a modern interior with chic furniture, funky patterns and bold wallpaper prints that really bring the home to life. Come evening, get ready in your sleek marble-clad bathroom and head up to the deck for sunset views over the "Big Easy" – pre-dinner drinks go down a treat up here. Set off into this vibrant city for a night of live jazz and tantalising cuisine – both Bourbon Street and the French Quarter are less than twenty-five minutes (on foot) from home.

Home truths:
*At capacity, two people will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living room – although, we think the apartment is better suited to four guests
*The building has strict rules about not letting to those who live within a 60-mile radius
*If you're bringing younger children, a baby cot and highchair are provided by the host
*If you have a car, you'll need to use the Howard Ave Park & Ride, less than a two-minute walk away – alternatively, there is a third party valet garage service available at the building for an extra $40 per car per night
*Up to two pets are allowed for an extra $150 non-refundable cleaning fee
*The apartment is a twenty-five-minute drive from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport
