This home is decked out in modern furnishings and amenities, but it hasn’t forgotten its 19th-century roots – the exposed brick walls give a real sense of the building’s history, as do the Italianate windows, which fill the open-plan living room with natural light. It’s the perfect spot to kick back and stream a movie on the smart TV or gather around the glass dining table for a gourmet meal cooked up in the fully-equipped kitchen. Though with this gem of a location, it’s not likely you’ll be cooking much – spend your days (and nights) exploring the vibrant streets, world-class Creole cuisine and famous jazz clubs of the French Quarter. Bourbon Street is only four blocks away, so whether you are starting the day early or staying out late, the heart and soul of NOLA is on your doorstep. When you turn in for the night, two super-king size beds await in the luxe bedrooms.

*The host only accepts bookings from guests who live outside of a 60-mile radius
*One dog or cat under 30 lbs is welcome to join you for a fee of $150, and two pets under a combined weight of 50 lbs are permitted for a fee of $350
*The building includes an on-site gym that is shared among residents
*The master bedroom is tucked away in an upstairs loft, but it has no door separating it from the downstairs rooms and may be better suited to early risers
