But even if you're not here for the music, you'll want to check out the architecture of the French Quarter or stroll around the French Market. For some culture, head to The Presbytère, the museum opposite St Louis Cathedral, just minutes away. There are so many restaurants and bars on your doorstep we doubt you'll spend much time indoors, but the stylish living space with its high ceilings, wood floors and bare brick walls, is the perfect place to plan the next day's escapades. Later, enjoy a drink on your balcony or get some fresh air in the building's communal courtyard. You can even take advantage of the on-site facilities such as the fully equipped gym and communal piano lounge. There's so much to do here – you'll be booking another visit before you leave.
