Inside, a bright, open living area gives twelve guests room to breathe without losing the group atmosphere. The outdoor pool and sun loungers are there for slower mornings, and a fully kitted gym means no one needs to skip a session. City views greet you from the main bedroom too, which is a decent way to start any day.

Home truths:
* Freight trains run directly behind the building and can be heard during your stay. The windows are triple-glazed to help reduce noise, and sound machines and earplugs are provided in the apartment.
* The building is in a lively, mixed-use urban area. The building shares its block with a local rescue mission, so you may notice a higher-than-average level of foot traffic and city activity on the street outside.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can arrange a pack-n-play and baby gate on request, subject to availability.
* You'll have access to the on-site gym, swimming pool, and indoor lounge here. They're shared with the building's other residents.
* The lead guest must be at least 21 years old.
* Two of the bedrooms are arranged as queen-over-queen bunk beds – we think they're best suited for groups of children.
