A hot tub on the rooftop terrace with downtown Nashville glowing across the skyline is a hard thing to leave behind – and that's before you've settled into the bold, light-filled living room or the kitchen built for a group that actually wants to cook together. The fourth bedroom has bunk beds, making this a natural fit for families as well as groups of friends. Broadway's honky-tonks are a thirteen-minute drive, the Ryman Auditorium is around eleven minutes by car, and the Nashville Parthenon in Centennial Park is around twenty-minutes' walk away.

Home truths:
* This home spans four floors and you'll need to use the stairs to reach every level – the bedrooms, living areas, and hot tub are all accessed by staircase. It may not be the best fit if anyone in your group has mobility considerations.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can arrange a cot and baby gate on request, subject to availability. Message your host in advance to get the baby package set up before you arrive.
* Broadway and the heart of downtown Nashville are around a seven-to-eight-minute drive or rideshare away. A car is useful if you plan to explore multiple neighbourhoods, but Uber and Lyft are quick and reliable.
* One of the bedrooms has a single-over-double bunk bed that can sleep up to three people – we think it might be best suited to children.
* At full occupancy, one guest will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
* While not all bathrooms are photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
