Ski-in/ski-out access with the gondola steps from the door – the Mountain Village location alone makes this apartment a serious option for a Telluride trip. Inside, a gas fireplace anchors the living and kitchen area, with expansive windows framing the peaks beyond. The hot tub on the deck is where après-ski hours disappear best, mountain views and cold air all around. A dedicated bunk room alongside three king suites gives families and groups real flexibility, and a grocery store directly across the street makes self-catering far less of a chore.

* Air conditioning is only available in two of the bedrooms.
* Bedroom four sleeps up to five guests in a single-over-double bunk bed and a single-over-single bunk bed – we think this room might be best suited to children.
* Ski-in/ski-out access depends on snow conditions and can't be guaranteed – if coverage is limited early or late in the season, you may need to make your way to the lifts on foot.
* There are three parking spaces here.
* Your host provides a starter supply of coffee, but you might want to bring your own to top this up.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can recommend local babysitters – worth arranging in advance if you're planning evenings out in Telluride.
* While the home can sleep up to 11 people, the maximum occupancy is 10 guests.
