For a taste of traditional Tuscan living head to this country villa set in the gentle hills of Montaione. The home boasts classic Tuscan design but with comfortable amenities. You can dine under wooden beams and, during winter months, enjoy the open fireplaces. The downstairs living areas are spacious and while the kitchen is not modern, it has everything you need to whip up delicious meals. Our favourite area of this home is the pretty terrace outside where a huge dining table calls out for long, lazy lunches, perhaps accompanied by wine from one of the nearby wineries. When you do want to get out and explore there are hiking and biking trails to discover plus San Vivaldo, the Jerusalem of Tuscany, is only a short drive away.
