Despite the hilltop position, which offers panoramic views of the rolling Tuscan hills, this villa feels utterly private – so you can fully relax into alfresco meals (homemade pizza nights are a must) and dips in the pool. Inside, a modern renovation has preserved original features, such as the stone fireplaces and tiled ceilings, providing the perfect atmosphere for refined evenings playing billiards or enjoying a wine tasting in the private cellar. On that note, Chianti wineries are within easy reach by car, as are historic towns such as San Gimignano and Volterra.
