Over the Scottish border, historic Kelso, Melrose and Jedburgh are all within easy reach. On your doorstep the Cheviot Hills and the College Valley provide outstanding walking, with breathtaking vistas. There is a pub, cafe and country store in the nearby village of Milfield, and the charming market town of Wooler is just down the road where you will discover a wealth of regional history and culture such as Ad Gefrin, a new experience showcasing the area s rich Anglo Saxon heritage. There is a TV/DVD along with a collection of DVDs and a sideboard stocked with books and games to ensure everyone is kept entertained. A further pine door takes you through to the well designed kitchen/diner which has a lovely solid wood dining table, ample storage, electric oven and hob, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer and microwave. A glass door leads out to the patio and garden. A staircase leads upstairs to two bright double bedrooms with fabulous views to the front and rear of the property. Also off the landing is the bathroom with shower over the bath and WC. Outside, the charming garden is the perfect place to relax, unwind and have fun. The patio area with garden furniture and BBQ is ideal for enjoying morning coffees or an al fresco dinner whist admiring the view.
