Inside, we love the sleek, minimalist look – pepped up here and there by a colourful statement sofa, a bright rug and the stylish monochrome tiles in the shower. It's simple and understated, but it just works. It's a particularly bright flat, with big windows and modern neutral tones. There’s also a narrow balcony, and while there isn’t space to sit outside, it’s nice to be able to get a breath of fresh air every now and then.

The Basilica of San Lorenzo and its famous columns are a few minutes away on foot, while it’s about a ten-minute walk to the Duomo.
