Velvet & Biscayne

Biscayne Bay unfolds from the wraparound balcony of this Coconut Grove apartment, with the marina, boutiques, and cafes of the neighbourhood all within easy reach on foot. Floor-to-ceiling windows draw the same panoramic views into the living area and bedroom, making the outlook feel constant rather than incidental. Set within a hotel, you also get access to the rooftop pool and hot tub, fitness centre, and on-site dining – a meaningful upgrade on the standard apartment experience. Free, secure garage parking is included too, which is hard to come by around here.

Home truths:
* Your included parking covers one space in the building's garage. Note that valet parking is not available.
* You're within easy walking distance of restaurants, cafes, and parks – you may find the neighbourhood walkable enough that a car is rarely needed beyond arrival.
* The airflow to the bedroom and main bathroom can be limited, leaving those rooms warmer than the rest of the apartment. There is a fan available in the closet if you need it.
* Your host can provide a cot and high chair for little ones upon request – just bring your own cot linen.
* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
