Twenty-nine floors up, this Downtown Miami studio frames the city skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows – and the private balcony makes it hard to look away. The shared rooftop pool, gym with waterfront views, and alfresco outdoor terrace mean there's plenty to keep you close to home when you're not exploring. But when you do plan to venture out, Kaseya Center, Bayside Marketplace, and a cluster of museums and restaurants are all on your doorstep – making this a well-placed base for seeing the best of Miami.

Home truths:
* This is a studio apartment, so the sleeping and living areas share one open space. It works well for couples or solo travellers, but there's a sofa bed for guests three and four if you need the space – though we think it's best for two.
* You'll have access to the on-site swimming pool, terrace, gym, and co-working space here. They're shared with the building's other residents.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a pack-n-play travel cot upon request.
* Please note that there is ongoing street construction directly in front of the building. Expect some dust and noise at street level during daytime hours, though the impact-resistant glass doors help minimise outside noise when closed.
