Morningside Musings

Tucked into the Morningside neighbourhood, this villa wraps you in greenery from the moment you wake – garden views from the bedroom, a sunroom for quiet mornings, and a shared courtyard shaded by a tropical canopy where alfresco evenings come together around the barbecue. The single-level layout keeps things easy, and the fireplace makes the living space welcoming on cooler nights. Beyond the gates, Morningside's jogging paths and kayak launches are close at hand, while Wynwood Walls is a fourteen-minute drive and South Beach's Art Deco shoreline about eighteen minutes away.

Home truths:
* You're well-placed for exploring Miami without a car day-to-day – the MiMo District is a five-minute walk and several neighbourhood restaurants are within walking distance – though the beaches and Wynwood are best reached by car or rideshare.
* Street parking is free here, and there's also parking on the premises – worth confirming the exact on-site arrangement with your host before you arrive, especially if you're bringing more than one car.
* The backyard is shared with two long-term rental units on the same plot, so it's a communal space rather than a private garden. It's a great spot for a barbecue, though you may have neighbours around.
* If you're travelling with little ones, a high chair is already on hand at the home.
