The single-level layout, with its private entrance and connected living and dining space, makes the house feel relaxed and low-maintenance – a good fit for families or anyone travelling with pets. Tropical Park is close by, Wynwood Walls is about twenty-eight minutes by car, and South Beach's Art Deco shoreline is roughly a thirty-one-minute drive when you're ready to explore.

Home truths:
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot on request. The home is single-level, which makes getting around for young children and guests with reduced mobility straightforward.
* The washer and dryer are located on the terrace under the outdoor counter – worth knowing if you're doing laundry at night or during wet weather.
* You're well-placed for Miami's main attractions, but most require a drive – Miami Beach is around a twenty-five to thirty-five-minute journey and Miami International Airport is roughly twenty minutes away. We recommend hiring a car to make the most of your stay.
* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area. We think it works best for children or one adult.
