Description Ivy & Morningside: Miami

Tucked behind a wall of tropical foliage in a gated Morningside neighbourhood, this boho-chic guesthouse feels like a retreat from Miami's energy – even though Wynwood Walls is a fourteen-minute drive and Little Haiti's Caribbean street life is around fourteen minutes on foot. The private entrance opens onto a garden patio with outdoor seating, a fire pit, and a barbecue, making alfresco evenings easy. Inside, the studio is set up for both rest and work, with a laptop-friendly desk and blackout blinds for when you need to sleep in. Morningside Park and Biscayne Bay are within walking distance.

Home truths:
* Parking here is on the street rather than in a private driveway or garage, so we recommend arriving with that in mind – spaces are generally available nearby.
* Pets are welcome to join you here.
* This home isn't set up for infants, but if you're travelling with a very young child, your host may be able to accommodate with advanced notice – it's worth reaching out before you book.
