Bay Light over the Grove

Perched high above Coconut Grove, this apartment looks out over the tree canopy to Biscayne Bay beyond – the kind of view that makes sitting still feel productive. The wraparound balcony, accessible straight from the main suite, is an easy place to spend a morning. Up on the rooftop, a pool deck with bay views is open daily from 8am to sunset, with a fitness centre and squash courts alongside. A cinema, restaurants and live music are directly across the street, and Barnacle Historic State Park is just steps away.

Home truths:
* Your two free parking spaces are included, which is a genuine perk in Miami – though if you're arriving with more than two cars, you'll need to make alternative arrangements.
* This apartment is actually two connecting hotel units, so the layout feels more like a suite with an adjoining room than a conventional apartment.
* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living space.
* The rooftop pool closes at sunset each day, so you won't be able to take a late-evening swim after a day out.
* Your host regularly refreshes the home, so furnishings might differ slightly from the photos. However, the overall quality should remain the same.
