Bay & Bloom

Perched on the penthouse floor of a hotel in Coconut Grove, this apartment offers something few Miami rentals can – complete privacy with full hotel service behind you. The double-height living space and wraparound terrace frame Biscayne Bay on one side and the treetop canopy of the Grove on the other, while the main bedroom's two walls of floor-to-ceiling glass mean you wake to both. When you're ready to venture out, a cinema, restaurants, and live music are directly across the street, and Barnacle Historic State Park is just steps away.

Home truths:
* Your parking pass covers one self-park vehicle in the hotel car park – worth factoring in if you're arriving as a group with more than one car.
* You're well placed for exploring Coconut Grove on foot – cafes, galleries, shopping, and boat rentals are all within walking distance. For further-afield spots like South Beach or Downtown Miami, you'll want a car or taxi.
* This apartment sits within a condo-hotel with permanent residents, so you may occasionally hear construction noise during weekday hours. Works are limited to 9am–5pm Monday to Friday, excluding major holidays, with no noisy work at weekends.
* No daily housekeeping is included here, and the front desk cannot supply extra towels or sheets.
