Step out of the living room and you're essentially on the beach – the Atlantic fills the view and, within a minute, you're on the sand with chairs and an umbrella already waiting. The covered terrace is the natural home for long lunches, with palm trees framing the ocean ahead. Back inside, the open living and dining area keeps that same outlook. South Beach is an eleven-minute drive for Ocean Drive and the Art Deco Historic District a fourteen-minute one, but with a heated pool and the Surfside shoreline right here, leaving takes some convincing.

* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in bedroom one.
* The second bedroom is a converted den with no window – fine for a good night's sleep, but worth bearing in mind if natural light matters to you during the day.
* You'll have access to the on-site pool and gym here. They're shared with the building's other residents.
* This is a beachfront apartment in a tropical climate, so despite regular professional pest control, you may occasionally come across insects or bugs during your stay – that's simply part of life in Miami's warm, humid conditions.
