Perched high above Miami Beach, this apartment delivers the kind of views that make it hard to tear yourself – Biscayne Bay stretching out in one direction, the Downtown skyline in the other. The balcony is our favourite spot, while inside, the living space draws in the same panoramas. You'll also have access to a rooftop gym and a communal swimming pool, meaning you have little reason to leave. When you do venture out, South Beach, Lummus Park, and the Art Deco facades of Ocean Drive are all within easy reach, with Lincoln Road's open-air restaurants and boutiques not far away, either.

Home truths:
* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
* You'll have access to the on-site gym and swimming pool here. They're shared with the building's other residents.
* You're in the North Beach neighbourhood rather than South Beach, so the pace here is noticeably calmer and more residential. Ocean Drive and the Art Deco district are a short drive south if you want the livelier side of Miami Beach.
* You'll enjoy access to a nearby beach club as well as two complimentary chairs. It does not include umbrellas.
