Harbour & Hush

Perched above Mevagissey harbour, this house is a stunning choice for large gatherings, with its sun terrace and sea views. An independent cottage, set amongst the lush gardens, offers additional privacy, but in the main house, the cosy living room with fireplace and country kitchen provide enough space to enjoy together. A short walk brings you into the village itself, where traditional pubs line the harbour, and the South West Coast Path opens up the beaches and coves of the south Cornish coast.

Home truths:
* While not all the rooms have been photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
* Bedrooms here are split between a main house and an independent cottage. The cottage is accessible via a slate staircase, so it may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
* Mevagissey is a traditional village with narrow lanes – a car is useful for reaching larger supermarkets and surrounding beaches, but the harbour can be reached on foot in five minutes. There's on-site parking for up to ten cars.
* Two of the bedrooms in the main house can be arranged as super-kings or twins on request.
* Your host can provide a cot and high chair for little ones upon request – just bring your own cot linen.
* While hen parties are welcome at this home, stag parties aren't.
* Early check-ins and late check-outs are available upon request only. They can be arranged close to your arrival or departure date.
