The main house opens onto a west-facing deck with ocean views, while the guest house has its own rooftop deck, and beach chairs, surfboards, and bikes are ready when you are. The sand is a five-minute walk, with Manhattan Beach Pier a ten-minute stroll further along the coast.

* This home comprises a three-bedroom home and a two-bedroom guest house on the same site. To reach the guest house, you'll cross the patio courtyard. Both homes have their own entrance and living spaces, so a group of ten can spread out comfortably.
* There's no air conditioning in either home – fans are provided, but if you're visiting in summer, factor that in when planning your stay.
* This is a characterful coastal home with older fixtures and finishes – it's well-maintained, but doesn't have a newly renovated interior, and there may be some minor cosmetic wear to the furnishings.
* You'll have parking for two vehicles in the front driveway and space for one small sedan in the back garage.
