Inside, the white-washed interiors are as pretty as a picture, and there’s a sofa bed in the living room for a more flexible sleeping setup. But it’s outside where we think you’ll be spending most of your time, hopping between the sunny lawns, private Jacuzzi and the shade of the lengthy terrace. When thoughts turn to food, the local butchers and bakery nearby will be handy. But it’s just as easy to head into the centre for a taste of Tuscany in Lucca's countless authentic restaurants.
