The Verdant Path: London

Impeccably designed and dotted with thoughtful details, this Edwardian home in Putney is a real gem. It’s been lovingly restored with plush furnishings and a colourful palette, offering a warm welcome after a busy day. We love the sleek kitchen, where you can cook up a feast, and the chic bar area for pre-dinner drinks. But it’s the meadow garden that really caught our eye – filled with wildflowers, it’s a serene spot to share breakfast, cocktails, or a leisurely game of table tennis. Beyond the front door, Putney High Street is a five-minute stroll away, and the River Thames is nearby too. And while you’re tucked away from the hustle and bustle, it’s only twenty minutes on the train to Waterloo and Central London.
Home truths:
*This is a lived-in home. You should expect some of the host's personal belongings to be present during your stay.
*Guests have access to all areas of the home, apart from the study and loft.
*You'll need to be able to climb stairs here, so it might not be the best option for those with reduced mobility.
*While toddlers and children are welcome, this home isn't suitable for babies under the age of 1.
*You can help yourself to drinks from the bar – just replace any bottles you finish.
*A member of your host's family has a serious nut allergy, so please refrain from bringing nuts into the house or cooking with nuts during your stay.
*Parking in London can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible.
