Alongside excellent transport links, you'll find plenty to see and do within walking distance – from the British Library and British Museum to a bevy of shops, restaurants, and pubs. When you're not exploring, this pocket-sized pad has all the basics covered. The small table doubles as a desk if you need to log on, while the compact kitchen has just enough space to whip up a light bite or two. Just note this apartment is on the second floor of a building without a lift – it's best for those who don't mind a few stairs.
