With its iconic live music venues, buzzing street markets, and seriously good food scene, it's a perfect spot for those after a vibrant, local atmosphere. The Tube is just a five-minute walk away, too – ideal for zipping around London. Set on the second floor and accessible only by stairs, this studio is packed with character. It's small but has all the essentials – and the exposed brick is a cool, industrial-chic touch. There's a sofa bed for the third guest, but given the all-in-one layout, we think it's best for a pair.

*At full capacity, one guest will sleep on a sofa bed. As this is a studio apartment, both the bed and sofa bed are in the same room. We'd suggest a maximum guest count of two adults.
*This apartment is on the second floor of a building without a lift. It's only accessible by stairs, so it won't suit those with limited mobility or heavy luggage.
*Given the central location by a busy road and hospital, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
*The kitchen is on the smaller side. We think it's better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
*The shower is a little narrow.
*The wi-fi can be slow at times. While it's perfectly fine for emails and browsing, it's not ideal for heavy streaming or video calls.
