Description Vinho & Pearl: Lisboa

Tall French windows flood the living room with afternoon light in this downtown Lisbon apartment, set inside a beautifully preserved historic building near Avenida da Liberdade. The interiors are full of character – bespoke handcrafted furniture and Portuguese artworks give it a warmth that feels local. A welcome kit of hand-picked wine and local gourmet treats greets you on arrival, and access to a nearby rooftop means monthly Portuguese wine tastings will be on the itinerary. Restaurants, monuments, and lively bars are all within easy reach.

Home truths:
* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
* Your host operates several homes here, so the exact view, layout and furnishings might differ slightly from the photos. However, the overall quality should remain the same.
* You can enjoy the use of a nearby communal rooftop terrace and co-working space with scenic views. The space hosts monthly Portuguese wine tastings, and advance booking is required for access.
* Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
