Sitting on Avenida da Liberdade, Lisbon's grandest boulevard, this apartment puts the city's best neighbourhoods within easy reach on foot – Rossio, Chiado, Alfama, and Praça do Comércio are all a short walk away, with the River Tagus a fifteen-minute stroll along the avenue. Back inside, the living area is calm and well-considered, with cooking, dining, and unwinding all sharing the same easy space. A dedicated desk with wi-fi makes it a solid base for working between sightseeing, and an Auchan supermarket directly opposite keeps the practical side of things effortless.

Home truths:
* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area and one guest will sleep on a sofa bed in a small snug adjacent to the main bedroom. We'd recommend this bed for children only.
* Street works outside the building can generate noise between 8am and 5pm, so bear that in mind if you plan to work from the apartment during the day or prefer a lie-in.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide baby bath and changing table. You'll want to request these in advance.
* Your host asks you to respect quiet hours between 10pm and 8am.
