Tucked into Lisbon's steep and characterful Bica neighbourhood, this third-floor walk-up apartment sits just a one-minute walk from the Elevador da Bica. When you're ready to explore further, the city's grand riverside square at Praça do Comércio is a fifteen-minute stroll. Back inside, the living and dining area is built for unhurried meals together, and the second bedroom doubles as a comfortable workspace for anyone extending the trip with a few remote working days. It’s an easy base for couples, families or a few friends looking to explore.

Home truths:
* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area. It's available upon request.
* There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home on the third floor. It won't suit those with limited mobility.
* Parking is tricky in this area. Bica's streets aren't accessible by car for most visitors, so we recommend exploring Lisbon on foot or using the excellent public transport links — Cais do Sodré station is just minutes away, giving you easy access to Cascais and Belém by train.
* Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot, high chair, tableware, and a baby bath upon request.
