The living space wraps around a fireplace, with a mountain-facing terrace pulling your eye straight to the peaks – equally good for morning coffee or a glass of something after a long day on the slopes. A private hammam sits within the apartment itself, while the communal wellness area adds an indoor pool, salt grotto, ice fountain, and more. Back in the evenings, the lounge bar does its job well. Seven-days-a-week concierge, valet parking, and a resort shuttle mean the logistics largely take care of themselves.

* While most of the bedrooms and bathrooms aren't photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
* The bunk-bed is in an alcove with its own shower room – well suited to children or a pair of younger guests, but not a conventional bedroom setup.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can arrange a cot and high chair. Speak with your host in advance to make sure everything is set up before you arrive.
* You'll have access to the on-site swimming pool, spa, and lounge bar here. They're shared with the building's other residents.
* The resort offers a private shuttle service for getting around the local area. You can also use the free Meribus shuttle, which covers the entire valley.
